Dell Technologies commissioned a fun art installation to engage their diverse workforce during the AfroTech conference in Houston. The project centered around a large-scale interactive canvas that invited Dell's visiting employees to become co-creators in a Houston-themed artistic experience.
Using specialized marker paint, over 50 Dell team members from across the nation transformed a blank canvas into a vibrant masterpiece that celebrated both the company's culture and the host city's spirit. The collaborative nature of the installation fostered team building and creative expression among Dell's employees, while seamlessly integrating with the company's commitment to diversity and innovation.
The resulting artwork served as a focal point at Dell's conference booth throughout the three-day AfroTech event, showcasing the power of collective creativity and employee engagement to thousands of conference attendees.
SHEIN commissioned me, along with five other local Asian artists, in a project aimed at celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. As part of the SHEIN x Discovery Art Project, we were tasked with the creative transformation of two picnic tables and a monolith, which became symbols of the celebration.
The culmination of this collaboration was a vibrant block party held in Houston's Chinatown. Here, SHEIN honored the contributing artists, showcased our work, and ran a pop-up shop selling clothing. Local restaurants and businesses participated as vendors, further fueling the community spirit of the event.
The project was not only a celebration of art, fashion, and culture but also gained recognition from the city of Houston, with a council member acknowledging the initiative. Today, the fruits of this collaboration - the artistically transformed picnic tables and monolith - stand proudly in Houston's local Chinatown, serving as public testaments to the event's success and our artistic creativity.
When smart lighting innovator Govee approached me for a collaboration, I knew we could create something that would bridge the worlds of traditional art and digital illumination. My mission was to reimagine their iconic "G" logo through my artistic lens, bringing it to life as a radiant neon centerpiece within one of my signature abstract landscapes.
But we didn't stop at the canvas - I translated my artistic vision into the digital realm by designing an exclusive LED curtain light scene for their mobile app, drawing inspiration from my own paint palettes to create an immersive lighting experience that would resonate with fellow creators.
By merging my traditional painting techniques with Govee's cutting-edge lighting technology, we created a partnership that showcased both the brand's innovation and my artistic perspective.
When Produce Connection approached me to create a visual centerpiece for their convention presence, I knew I wanted to capture both their brand identity and the vibrant energy of fresh produce in a single striking piece.
I designed and executed a large-scale standing mural that positioned their logo at the heart of a dynamic composition, surrounded by meticulously rendered fresh produce – juicy watermelons, vine-ripened tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and colorful red peppers – all brought to life through my distinctive artistic style.
The strategic placement and scale of the mural transformed their convention booth into an immersive brand experience, drawing attendees in and sparking organic conversations about both the artwork and Produce Connection's commitment to quality.
This piece did more than just showcase their product range; it created an engaging visual narrative that helped Produce Connection stand out in a crowded convention environment while reinforcing their position as a leader in the fresh produce industry. The mural became not just a backdrop, but a powerful conversation catalyst that helped facilitate meaningful connections between Produce Connection and potential partners throughout the event.
